Core Emotional Needs 🫶
Psychological Group (Online)
When we think about living a good life, we often aim high—personal growth, success, meaningful experiences. But those are more like the dessert: sweet, rewarding, and not quite enough on their own.
What really sustains us are five core emotional needs: acceptance, attention, autonomy, achievement, and love. These are the basics—often overlooked, yet essential. And when they’re not met, something inside us notices:
I have everything I thought I wanted, but still feel empty.
I’m rarely alone, yet somehow I feel lonely.
I’m doing well, but I keep doubting myself.
In this 5-week online group, we’ll get back to what really matters. You’ll learn how to notice and meet your emotional needs in everyday life. We’ll clear out the clutter in your emotional kitchen—and restock it with what truly nourishes, so your life feels grounded, rich, and real.
The Program 📖
Each session kicks off with a brief, thoughtful intro from Anastasia to ground us in the week’s focus. After that, you’ll work through hands-on exercises that bring the theme into your own daily life. The real depth, though, comes through the group—where we listen, reflect, and work through personal challenges together.
Over five weeks, you’ll build a personal toolkit—a collection of “recipes” tailored to your emotional needs, so you can meet them with more clarity, intention, and ease.
Week 1 👉 Acceptance
At its core, this is about your existence.
Most of us, at some point, quietly wonder: Do I belong here? Is it really okay for me to be who I am, as I am? It’s a natural question when you find yourself human, on planet Earth, trying to make sense of it all.
In this space, we’ll explore what it means to truly accept yourself—your body, your voice, your place in the world. We’ll look at how you relate to others, and how you meet the parts of life that feel hard to be with. It’s not about fixing who you are, but learning to stand in it, fully.
Week 2 👉 Attention
The need for attention is one of the most misunderstood emotional needs. It’s often dismissed with comments like “She’s just attention-seeking” or “He always needs to be the center of attention.” But the truth is, wanting to be seen is deeply human—and a lack of it can leave a real mark.
In this course, we’ll look at what being seen means for you personally. We’ll explore how you can start giving yourself the attention you may have been missing—while also creating space to receive it from others in a way that feels genuine and nourishing.

Week 3 👉 Autonomy
The need for autonomy is part of who we are. Still, it’s easy to feel like life is happening on someone else’s terms—shaped by expectations, routines, and the pressure to please. So the real question becomes: how much of your life actually feels like it’s yours?
We’ll explore what it means to claim your space, to make choices that reflect who you are—without the weight of guilt or constant self-doubt. How do you stay connected to others without losing yourself in the process?
Week 4 👉 Success
Success is a word we hear all the time—usually tied to performance, productivity, or hitting the next big goal. But what if success isn’t something out there to chase? What if it’s something you define for yourself?
This week is about getting clear on what success actually means to you. Not in numbers or accolades, but in the way your life feels. We’ll explore how to measure progress by your own inner compass—and how to feel a sense of success in everyday moments, without needing to prove anything to anyone.
Week 5 👉 Love and Connection
Love and connection are what make us feel human. They give life depth, warmth, and a sense of belonging. But when love has felt out of reach—or only given under certain conditions—it can leave lasting questions.
This week, we’ll look at how love and connection show up in your life. How do you relate to yourself? How safe do you feel with others? What kind of relationships actually nourish you? It’s about building connection that’s steady, genuine, and grounded in mutual respect—not perfection.
Our Goal: An Emotional Recipe Book
At the heart of existential therapy is one goal: freedom.
Freedom to know what you need, to trust what you feel, and to shape a life that genuinely fits. When you start paying attention to your inner signals—and stop brushing them aside—you begin to see more clearly what nourishes you, and what doesn’t.
Over the course of five weeks, you’ll create your own down-to-earth “recipe book” for meeting your emotional needs—something you can return to whenever life feels off balance, and you want to come back to yourself.
Who is this course for?
This course is for anyone who grew up in an environment where emotional needs were overlooked, dismissed, or misunderstood—and never had the space to learn how to tune into their own.
It’s also for (soon-to-be) parents who want to show up for their children without losing touch with themselves. When you know how to care for your own emotional needs, you’re far better equipped to recognize and respond to the needs of others—with clarity, steadiness, and heart.
